Formación temprana: Inició su andadura artística a una edad muy temprana en el ambiente local de Vitoria. En 1965, ingresó en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios, donde estudió adorno y figura con Mariano Basterra, y escultura con Víctor Arámburu y Aurelio Rivas.
Evolución artística: Su carrera ha evolucionado desde una figuración inicial hacia la abstracción, especialmente notable a principios de la década de 1970.
Reconocimientos y obras públicas: Ha obtenido diversos galardones a lo largo de su carrera, incluyendo el Gran Premio de Pintura Vasca en 1972. Es conocido por sus obras públicas integradas en el paisaje.
Presencia internacional: Ha expuesto en numerosas ciudades españolas y del extranjero, y sus obras se encuentran en colecciones de Europa y América.
